We are a new bookstore which means that we only carry new books. If you're looking for used books, we recommend taking a look at the Midland Library which has a used bookstore downstairs or the Gateway Centre for Learning which has an attached used bookstore.

You're in luck! Any book that is still in print we can order in for you. Please call us at (705) 526-4750 or email us at geobaybooks@hotmail.com with what you're looking for and we'll order it from the publisher. Usually books take 2-3 weeks to be shipped to the store and we'll contact you once we receive the book.

We don't accept used books since we are a new bookstore and only sell new books. If you'd like to donate your books, please bring them to either the Midland Library or the Gateway Learning Centre. If you think that your books can be sold, we suggest looking at Abebooks.com or Ebay to see if there's interest in your book.

We can certainly take a look to check if it's in print, but if a book is out of print, then your best bet is to look on abebooks.com to see if they're available there. Amazon can also be used in a pinch, but it's harder to guarantee the quality there.

No! We also have lots of stationary items like stickers and journals, as well as fun things like pins, tarot cards, and puzzles. If you're looking for something, come on in and see what we have!

We accept self-published books on consignment and on a case by case basis. If you have written a book, you would like us to sell for you, please bring it into the bookstore and talk to either Sarah or Sandy about having it in the store. We have a vibrant local authors section and would be happy to speak to you.

We love book signings! Especially in the summer. Please come and speak to either Sarah or Sandy about when you would like to host a signing and what your book is. Please note that we have a limited amount of spots per year, so there may not be any available.

We don't currently host a book club, but we do host poetry nights on the last Wednesday of each month. We'd love to see you there!

We love books and we love talking about books. If you're looking for recommendations, feel free to ask whoever is in the store. We have plenty of books that we've read and loved, or we can tell you what has been popular with other Midland residents.
